May 19, 2012 - Belgian Waffles & Football
This was a fun, random day back in Olomouc.
One of they guys in the Erasmus program was from Belgium...Vincent.
Elin and I had been asking him for some Belgium waffles and his mom actually brought some when she came to visit him. So he invited us over and we had Belgium chocolates and Belgium waffles with strawberries and whipped cream. This was another moment that was so simple but excellent moment.
That night was the most important futbol (soccer) game for our group.
Dr. Clark made a promise to us that he had to follow through on if the Brits won.
Almost our entire group showed up to watch the game and what a game it was.
It came down to a shootout and the last shot for the Brits to win ... it was beyond exciting!
