We are off to Prague this morning!  Went to a little party on the roof last night with a bunch of the other students, it was so much fun!  Cannot wait to see and experience the capital city.  We are also venturing into Dresden, Germany on Saturday ... time to get some Euros!  Ciao!

Another day of classes done...got a yay from the Czech language teacher today when I spoke today. :D Had lunch at another yummy new place and then went into a sugar coma from the chocolate muffin afterwards. The food is very dangerous here but oh so good! Took a quick trip to Globus for some essentials and tonight will be packing for Prague for our 4 day weekend there. We will be leaving for Prague on the 9:17am train, I hear the train cars are like those seen in Harry Potter! Can't wait! 

It has now been a week since I've left and I can't wait to see what is next! Our last group member arrived today, a few of us went to pick him up at the train station. We were cracking up because if we wouldn't have gone to get him, he would have had NO idea where to go! Glad Jed Dush is here to join in the fun. We will be going out to dinner to celebrate his arrival! :) 

Day 5:  Lessons I've learned so far:
-Laundry SUCKS ... it is going to take 2 1/2 hours to wash 1 load and then we have to air dry our clothes
-DO NOT use a restroom unless it is clearly marked for public use ... you will get yelled at in another language and that is not a fun experience
-Don't assume that others do not speak English ... someone around you probably will
-Being the "foreigner" changes everything
-We as Americans are generally lazy (like I didn't know that already) but the amount of walking here is incredible!
-I am also learning to be more patient ... they take their time here, especially with meals

I'm sure this list will continue to grow as our adventure continues!

Some pics from our first 3 days here ... lots of yummy food and beautiful architecture!

Arrived in Olomouc yesterday and it has been a whirlwind adventure so far.  Lots and lots of walking. :)  Even got lost already but I was with others in our group ... we eventually found our way back.  It still feels very surreal, like we're on a movie set but classes start tomorrow and the real schooling begins!

All packed, in Omaha now at my friend Jenna's house.  Just Skyped home and Isaac was so sad and confused. :(  Made me cry again.  I know he's going to be fine but I might fall apart a few times.  Time to finished putting together my backpack and get my homework assignment finished.  8 hrs 15 mins until check in at the airport!
